Engine
 The engine modified by using Sinotruk patented technology not only fully meets the requirement of GB7258 "Technical Conditions of the Safe Operation of Motor Vehicles" on the specific power of combination vehicle but also properly satisfies the requirement of GB1589 on the sub-file limit of combination vehicle with different number of axles. Power classification is reasonably adjusted, divided into 266PS, 290PS, 336PS, 371PS, and 410PS. The whole power system is comprehensively upgraded. The power is stronger; fuel consumption is more economical; and the emission is cleaner. In terms of power coverage and system matching, our engine is unparalleled in the domestic market. It has the following features.

1. The intake and exhaust system is comparable with that of the European trucks. The smoother and more efficient air intake and exhaust greatly prolong the service life of the engine and reduces its wear.
a. The intake system can solve the engine's problem of water inflowing to the maximum extent. By virtue of the unique design ideas, it is ensured from the structure that water can not enter the engine.
b. The multi-stage dust - exhaust air filter device makes the incoming air cleaner.
c. The diameter of the exhaust pipe is increased to 130 mm according to the European standards. Significant improvement has been made to the joint connection, making exhaust smoother and resistance smaller.

2. The adoption of specialized technology and the overload test of accessories improve the reliability of the engine. Relying on the technical strength of Sinotruk in the industry, a large number of proprietary technologies have been applied in the key parts of the engine. As a result, the engine's reliability is improved substantially and its fuel consumption is greatly reduced. In laboratory condition, the fuel consumption per a hundred kilometers is less then 30L. This reaches the international level and is the best in China.

3. Emissions are in full compliance with the requirements of Euro II regulations. After adjustment, it can even reach the Euro standard.
In addition, our dump truck adopts the braking way of disc brake for front wheels and drum brake for rear wheels. This effectively shortens the braking distance and ensures driving safety. The standard configuration of our product include tubeless tires which have many advantages, such as light deadweight, good balance, low heat generation, wear resistance, etc. Due to small rolling resistance, fuel consumption can be saved by about 5%.
